Hello Mike,
                 The good news was that the supplied battery pack and charger have been delivered. The bad news is that the delivery of the charger/battery pack is not the end of my worries, but perhaps just the start of whole lot more? The outcome of that particular concern is in your hands. First of all I wish to say that I am totally disappointed and disgusted  with you as a company and at the moment, with respect, I am trying to decide...

Is this Company having a laugh?
Is this Company trying to just wind me up?
Is this Company trying to pull a fast one?
Is this Company trying to insult my intelligence?
Does this Company think that I am naive?
Does this Company think that they are dealing with a fool?

The reason I am saying all the above is because of the absolutely disgusting condition the battery pack you have sent me back to replace the faulty battery pack. As the attached photographs show the pack is very badly scuffed and marked as opposed to the the one that I sent you. If you look at my bike photographs you will see that the bike is in 'as new' condition. Please refer to the picture of my faulty returned battery pack which clearly shows the serial numbers and that this battery pack was in pristine condition also. Unfortunately I could not forecast that you were going to treat me this way so there are no pictures of all sides of that particular battery. Let the bike pictures be your guide. However, it is pretty obvious that what you have sent me back is either a Battery Pack far older than mine, or it has been well travelled and abused. 

You have obviously made no effort at all to even replace the defective battery pack with one of similar age or condition. 

As previously explained, I purchased the Cyclomatic Electric Bike on 17th October 2010 and was delivered on 25th October 2010 which made it well under two years old when I returned the pack/charger back to you. As previously mentioned, I expect this situation to be sorted as per the 1979 Sale Of Goods Act.

My bike has primarily only been used on a Saturday and Sunday to take me the one mile and back into Machynlleth because there are no buses about on those weekend days.

Take out the  weekend days I did not use the bike because of inclement weather or whatever.
Take out our many, many, many holidays.
Take out the 3 separate occasions I could not use the bike because of the three faulty chargers you replaced.
Take out the 6 weeks during which you have just had the charger and battery pack in for repair/replacement.

So then, what total milage do we have? My rough estimation of the miles travelled on that bike add up to around 100 miles tops, and I expect you to take this into consideration when you make your next decision about satisfying this particular customer complaint.


One way and another your company are putting me through a nightmare scenario with a bike I feel sorry I ever clapped eyes on, never mind purchased.

With respect, you need to understand that I am not even prepared to put the battery pack that you have supplied on the bike and I am rejecting it out of hand. I expect you to replace the not fit for purpose, badly looked after and aged  battery pack with either  a brand new one or something at the very least compatible with the faulty pack I sent to you.

    purchased a stowmatic electric golf trolley broke after only being used about 9 times emailed sports hq and they offered to collect goods free for inspection contacted them to arrange a suitable date for collection only to be told i had to pay £50 as 1 yr warranty was up informed them of my consumer rights and european warranty which is 2 yrs it appears this company think they are above the law. I have had the trolley inspected and it has been found to be a manufacturing fault which means they by law have to offer free repair,replacement or refund but they have been ignoring my emails and i cant get any one over the phone it certainly seems to be my name is now blacklisted I even tried to get the name or email of the managing director which they so far have refused to give me. I am absolutely disgusted with this company and would warn everyone to stay away from them

    Dont know where to start really. Bought a stowmatic golf trolley for my partner in November, the wheel cracked only months later. The company sent us a replacement, also cracked. We complained, they sent us another, very obviously used, we complained and eventually they sent us a brand new wheel-hoorah! 6 weeks ago, the trolley chassis cracked and as yet, we cannot even get the trolley picked up! The company tell us that theyve arranged for a collection, we both work shifts and let them know when we're in, they promise they'll work around us, still the trolley hasnt been picked up. I took a day off work and the courier didnt turn up, when I rang up to find out what was going on, Sportshq hadnt even booked a courier!!!!!!!!!! We've now switched courier, from Yodel to TNT, we were promised a pickup today after 2pm, guess what......... Im at the end of my tether now. They are robbers, who once they have your hard earned cash, dont want to know you. It looks like a drive to Worcester is the only thing left to do

    "STAY AWAY!!!!!!! DON'T DO IT, WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!"

    I ORDERED x2 10Kg DUMBELL WEIGHTS. PAYMENT WAS TAKEN ALL SEEMED OK.
    I WAS INFORMED ORDER WOULD BE 2-5 WORKNG DAYS.
    AFTER THE 5 WORKING DAYS NO ORDER.
    I CALLED AND WAS ADVISED IT WAS LOST AND THEY WILL SEND OUT ASAP.
    WAITED 2 MORE DAYS NO ORDER!!!!!
    THEN I SPOKE TO WILL THE MANAGER THERE, HE PROMISED ORDER WILL BE SENT OUT NEXT DAY DELIVERY.
    SO I WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT!!!!!
    NO ORDER, DO YOU SEE A PATTERN EMERGING?????
    SO I CALL AGAIN THEY SAY THEY WILL CONTACT YODEL AND GET ORDER ASAP!!!!!
    GUESS WHAT??? STILL NO ORDER!!!!!
    STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

    stow matic trolley which was used for 5 months in total about 19 times took out forstart of golf season and not working now they are saying that because the 1 yr warrenty is up they want to charge to repair it. consumer advice contacted and they are responsible for for repairing they now think that consumer laws dont apply to them. in the process of going down the legal route utterly disgusted at this company and would not recommend buying anything of them goods are obviously substandard and customer service is the worst i have ever come across. STAY WELL AWAY. I wish i had checked reviews about this company before purchasing goods.

    "Bad everything"

    I wished i read the review above before buying from SportHQ. They are terrible with everything, they dont call customers regarding any issues they are having with the goods you ordered, you have to call them everyday and even when they arrange your delivery, you spend days waiting as if you dont have anything to do. They are unliable and dont care about their customers. 
    If you want to buy anything from them, please look for it somewhere else or else you will regret it. I will never order from them again.

    I ordered a marquee online on 1st June for Jubilee party and paid for it to be delivered on 2nd June. When i failed to receive a confirmation email I phoned them and was told the order hadntgone through. Ordered a second one over phone for delivery the next day. 2nd June came and went NO marquee. It turned up on 5th June and I refused delivery. Contacted Sports HQ and told them, only to be told I had ordered 2 marquees because the online order had gone through!! The second one has never been delivered!! I requested a refund for both, 2 weeks later nothing! Phoned them again on 21st June to be told they havent got either back and id have to wait for refund. Not happy with their service or inefficiency!!

    "Absolutely Disgusted" 
    Goods purchased & costBought a golf trolley last year, trolley lasted all of 11 months and then sportsplc denied all knowledge of supplying the trolley. 

    Eventually they gave in and then offered to repair the trolley only for them to somehow lose the trolley.

    After waiting for a month I contacted them to find out what was happening to then find out they are going to send me anotherrefurbed trolley only for this one to get lost in the post.

    6 months on and i still dont have a trolley to show for it and my poor father has had to purchase one from elsewhere.

    Would definitely advise to stay away from these guys like the plague!!!
